Terms & Conditions

Welcome to JK Plumbing & Tiling. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for the provision of our plumbing, tiling, and bathroom installation services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you have any questions, please contact us before work begins.
1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” refer to JK Plumbing & Tiling.
“Client”, “You”, “Your” refer to any person or entity engaging our services.
“Services” refers to all plumbing, tiling, bathroom fitting, and related work carried out by JK Plumbing & Tiling.
2. Quotations & Pricing
2.1 All quotations are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Quotations are based on the information provided by the client. Any changes to materials, layout, unforeseen issues, or additional work required may result in revised costs.
2.3 Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
3. Booking & Deposits
3.1 A deposit may be required to secure a booking or to order materials on your behalf.
3.2 Work will not be scheduled or materials ordered until the deposit has been received.
4. Cancellations
4.1 If a bathroom project is cancelled by the client, a £250 cancellation fee will be charged.
4.2 If materials have already been ordered, the client will be responsible for any supplier return fees or non-refundable items.
4.3 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may incur additional charges.
5. Supply of Products & Materials
5.1 Products supplied remain the property of JK Plumbing & Tiling until paid for in full.
5.2 Returns are subject to supplier policies and may incur fees.
5.3 Any costs related to returns are the responsibility of the client.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 Clear access to the work area must be provided.
6.2 Accurate information regarding the property must be supplied.
6.3 Utilities must be available for the duration of the work.
7. Workmanship & Warranty
7.1 All work is completed to professional standards and UK regulations.
7.2 A 12-month workmanship guarantee applies unless otherwise agreed.
7.3 This does not cover wear and tear, misuse, third-party work, or client-supplied materials.
8. Payment Terms
8.1 Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise.
8.2 Late payments may incur interest.
8.3 We reserve the right to pause work if payment terms are not met.
9. Liability
9.1 Minor cosmetic disruption may occur during necessary work.
9.2 We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
9.3 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Use of Subcontractors
10.1 Trusted subcontractors may be used where required.
10.2 All subcontractors meet our quality standards.
11. Complaints
11.1 Complaints should be provided in writing as soon as possible.
11.2 We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
